It is probably the worst time to get these symptoms: coughing, runny nose, headache, vomiting, sore throat, aching muscles.
Its week 13, 240% of assignments due in the space of two weeks, and amongst that, an array of various meetings, planning for overseas trip and also employment for next year. Life seemed to be 'hectic' with that alone, then having to deal with a mystery illness... but its weird that I always have this feeling when I get sick.
I just wonder if the timing of sickness is a mere coincidence, especially when God is in control of our lives. So many times, and with hindsight, I can see that the times I get sick always have some message for me. Sometimes it could be God saying "take a break from your busy life Josh" or other times its "you're trusting yourself too much Josh, trust Me instead". But each time it amazes me that God is in control and even if I'm sick or half dead, God will never put something on my plate that I or He can't handle, and He will always lead me through the situation.
While being sick is occurring in arguably the worst time of the semester, I think that this is a timely reminder for me to trust God because He is in control.
